Fact-Checking Policy

Our Approach to Verification

Every factual claim in an article is checked against at least one primary source before publication. Primary sources include official company announcements, SEC or Companies House filings, peer-reviewed research, on-record interviews, and authoritative industry databases.

Funding Data

Funding figures are sourced from official press releases, Crunchbase, PitchBook, or direct company confirmation. We note the source of all funding data within articles. Where figures cannot be independently verified we clearly state that data is unconfirmed.

Quotes and Attributions

Direct quotes are only published when obtained on the record from the named individual. Paraphrased statements are clearly identified as such.

Pre-Publication Review

Articles that make significant factual assertions are reviewed by a second editor before publication. For complex investigative pieces, legal and/or expert review may also be sought.

Post-Publication Corrections

If a factual error is identified after publication, it is corrected immediately with a transparent correction note. See our Corrections Policy.

Report an Inaccuracy

If you believe a published article contains an error, please contact us via our contact page with the article URL and the specific claim you believe to be inaccurate.
